Sheikh Abdul Raouf Khalil Museum is one of the most important tourism destinations in Jeddah and tourism in Saudi Arabia in general. Because of the great archaeological, cultural importance of this museum, it is visited by millions of visitors annually. From the outside, the museum has a distinctive design following the Islamic style, and ornate wooden installations with the use of many Arab architectural elements.

AMSY began with the restoration of the Southern Saudi Heritage Pavilion using the traditional methods and techniques and Southern “Qat” Patterns. And provided the museum with pieces that reflect the southern culture, such as: tools, fashion, and handicrafts.
